《Waste collected regularly at collection points》

(1)Plastic containers and packaging
This category includes packaging, disposable cups and bowls, plastic bottles, plastic trays, plastic bags and kitchen wrap, plastic lids, labels, nets, tubes, cushioning material, polystyrene foam packaging material, etc. Discard the remains inside and rinse the containers with water before disposing. Collection days are once a week.

(2)Bottles, cans, and PET bottles
Take them to the collection sites after you drain the product and rinse the content with water. Collection days are once a week.

(3)Miscellaneous paper
Paper boxes, paper cartons, paper cups and lids, shredded or cut up paper, paper mounting bases, calendars, receipts, wrapping paper, paper bags, cores from toilet paper rolls, postcards, letters, envelopes, pictures, etc. are collected once every two weeks.
*Starting April 2011, newspapers, magazines, and cardboard cannot be disposed as “Miscellaneous paper.” Newspapers, magazines, and cardboard would need to be discarded in a different rule such as at the community collection locations, newspaper collection boxes, and stores cooperating in the collection of old newspapers. If you are unable to dispose these categories at the locations above, place them in the designated bags for charged waste and discard with "Burnable waste".

(4)Branches, leaves, grass and weed cuttings
Weed cuttings, grass and flowers, and leaves should be disposed after dusting off dirt. Branches should be tied together by a string (about 1m long for branches shorter than 50 cm). Collections would be once every 4 weeks from May to December.
*Vegetables, fruit, wood & wooden products, fences made of bamboo and rush mats used during winter do not apply.
